LED Blink circuit with NE555 IC

Hi guys….

Today we see how to make the led to blink without MCU

Here I explain how to blink the led with IC555. In this project I’m using 555 to produce the clock signal. Note I’m not using any microcontroller here as Arduino.

IC 555 is the 8 pin timer IC. Normally it is used to create the timer circuit; here also we design the Timer circuit with 555 that create the clock signal.

I hope that you can know about clock pulse. If you don’t know leave a comment below I’ll reply you soon.

The above picture shows the output of IC555 (Clock pulse)

In positive cycle, we got +ve voltage. So the LED grows.

In negative cycle, we got 0 voltages. So the LED not grows.

As the positive and negative cycle repeatedly happen, the LED will blink.

greeting from Nandu projects.

If you want to connect two LED and alternatively grow them means, then change some thing in it as below.
