Automatic street light with IC555

Automatic street light

        We are no need to manually operate the switch of street light. Instead of that, this project will help us to automatically switch ON and switch OFF the light depending upon the sun light present. When darkness rises to a certain level then sensor circuit gets activated and switches ON and when there is other sources of light i.e. daylight, the street light get OFF.

        Here we use LDR (Light Depending Resistor) to sense the brightness of the certain place. The LDR is given as the input to the IC. here we are using the IC555 timer IC. The IC can turn ON and OFF the street light.
